I have done more cute test designs for www.embroidery-boutique.com this past week.Rachel is cranking out some CUTE ones!I always LOVE her designs!!!I have been soooo busy with orders!I get super busy during the holiday season.Actually I have been super busy most of the year!I am in the process of organizing my fabric right now too!I have all my applique fabric in a cubicle thing with bins that I got at target BUT I can't seem to keep it all straight!I am putting each piece in its own ziploc bag then resorting in the bins.The bags will keep it all folded when I am digging!I saw a picture the other day where someone used ziploc bags and then hung them.I really don't have a good way to do that and I kind of do enjoy digging through it?I am always finding something I didn't know I had!I really think the bags will help me a ton!That way when I am chunking it in the floor trying to find something it will stay folded and clean as well!I also may change the way I was sorting?I had it done by color.I think I may do stripes, polka dots, ginghams, etc....Not sure how it is all going to work out so stay tuned for that!

I used a corduroy in the reindeer head then red ginghams on the nose and then solids that I believe I picked up at Hancocks.The corduroy is by Robert Kaufman and gingham is by Fabric Finders.I also really like Robert Kaufman fabric!This corduroy is super soft!I think I will make brown cord pants with a red gingham cuff to go with this shirt!

Been A WHILE!!!

I have been so busy lately!Lots of orders, trying to keep the site up, a little testing for myself and www.embroidery-boutique.com, as well as everyday life!I hope to back designing new appliques soon but for the time being I am trying to catch up on my current orders!
I have gotten in the Christmas mood and yes I know Thanksgiving isn't even here yet!!!BUT I had the prettiest tree I have ever had last year and I am ready to put it up:)I am going to try and hold off until Thanksgiving Holidays though!Hence the word "TRY"!
I tested some cute designs for www.emroidery-boutique the other day!She has come out with a few designs adding ric rac that are too cute!I am sure all theses EB designs will be listed soon!

Blogging Slum!AND new designs!

I think I have been in a blogging slum?Or just to busy to sit down long enough to do it!I received several emails after my post on the tutorial!So glad to help some of you out!And thanks for letting me know I did.It sometimes helps to get those emails!I know then I am actually helping people and not talking to myself!HA!I got several emails about my little craft iron.I got mine at WalMart for $10.00.I was also at Hobby Lobby yesterday and noticed they had them also for $10.00.I am sure any craft store has them.Also my double curved scissors are made by Havel's and I got those at Heirloom's Forever in Tupelo.I actually have like six pair of them!Heirlooms Forever also has a website www.sews.com I do also have a pair of the Gingher 4" curved blade scissors but I prefer the Havel's just because they fit MY hand better.They seem to be to thick for me but we are all different!The Heat n Bond LITE can be found at almost all craft stores and WalMart.I usually get mine in the packaged roll at WalMart simply because it is cheaper there.At the craft stores it is $10plus and at WalMart it is a little over $6.00.As for stabilizer I like medium weight cutaway because I do mainly shirts.I don't have a brand preference.I usually use Sulky or OESD just because it is what I can run get at my local places.I buy my Sulky KK2000 at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts.It is the only place I have found that keeps it in stock!Now next time I go they won't have any.They also have 50% off sales on it from time to time and I literally buy EVERY can on the shelf when they do!I can not function with out it!I think I answered all question that I received? Anyway I hope I did!

I LOVE this one!I does have several steps but they are fairly easy!Also a great beach towel design!I think I am going to put it in the corner or a shirt and of course make matching gingham shorts or seersucker?The seersucker I buy is also made by Fabric Finders! OK I should count the number of times I have said Fabric Finders!Maybe I should see about being a spokesperson or something!LOL!

I get tons of emails asking how I do my appliqués!How do I make them lay so flat, How do you not have any frays, How do you cut fabric, etc....... So here it is!I took pictures as I was doing one of my samples yesterday to show how "I" do "mine".Everyone has their own way and own tricks.This is just my way.I also didn't realize there are tons of people who monogram and have never done an appliqué!I prefer appliqué to a stitched design any day!Yes there are more steps but to me they just look better/nicer and allow you to be more creative and put more of yourself and your style into them!And once you get "your" process figured out appliqués are easy and TONS of FUN!I hope this helps! OK I can not make my pictures show completely.It is cutting some of it off but if you click on it you will get the whole thing.Sorry!I have tried several things!

more designs and HORRIBLE weather!!!

It has been a LONG weekend here in Northeast Mississippi!Tornadoes and flooding makes for a very unsettling weekend!We got out yesterday afternoon after things calmed down and it was terrible!I have NEVER seen anything like the damage done by the tornado!Houses with roofs gone, trailers GONE, an empty lot where a house once was, timberland destroyed, road signs twisted, refrigerators and other household appliances in trees or nowhere remotely close to a home, insulation everywhere,etc.....Just horrible.I did take a few pictures with my phone but they do NOT capture the destruction!You see it on TV and its almost surreal but this was very real!I have a friend whose house was in the path, luckily they where not home and her home is intact!However her yard doesn't have a tree left, but I know she can live without those!They width of the destruction seemed VERY wide and the Tornado stayed on the ground for a really LONG way!I haven't heard a length of the path yet.The National Weather Service was there yesterday afternoon.There where two lives lost.....Flooding is also really bad!School here was cancelled for today.As of 5:00 yesterday 2,500 in Tippah County where without power!Those lineman have been working VERY hard and long hours and we all appreciate it!The outages have gone from 6,000 to the 2,500!Please remember all those affected in your prayers!

I was able to load the 8 new designs to www.appliquemomma.com Saturday morning while there was a little calmness!Shortly after I unplugged the computer(machines have been unplugged since Friday night)!I always unplug the big stuff during bad weather!I have had several emails about how I store and catalog my designs.Every time I purchase a design I download it immediately after my purchase(I don't wait for the email.I download after I am redirected.).I put all my designs on a 16gb flash drive/jump drive.I have folders for each site .This helps when I am buying designs and can't remember if I already purchased something.So if I am on Applique Cafe and think did I or didn't I get that one last time I just go to my AC file and look!This has helped me alot!And it doesn't fill my hard drive up with designs!However I have still duplicated a few designs!I suppose I didn't look hard enough!Also if your computer crashes you still have ALL of your designs!I think this is the best way I have found!I use to put them on the computer and then backup with a cd but you can only put so many on a disc and my children have scratched several of mine so flash drive is my suggestion to all of you!And if you have a design addiction like I do all those designs can slow your computer down!I have also had several emails about the new CUTE designs I tested for www.embroidery-boutique.com.I believe Rachel is working on loading those this morning!So if you where wanting those I think they will be available sometime today!And her designs are 60% off right now!Mine are still 50% off until Wednesday AND www.appliquecafe.com com has a promo going to:get $10 off your purchase of $30!Great sales so go stock up!!!

Cake on Stand Applique Design

This one would be great for birthdays!I like the solid colors on it but I always have trouble with this fabric because it is so thin and sometimes doesn't want to lay flat even with the Heat N Bond lite but I have found my solution!It is a little bitty craft iron!I got it in the craft section at Wal Mart for like $10.00.I do all my fabric steps and cut them out and before I do the satin stitch I go ahead and iron it with the craft iron.I like the craft iron because it fits inside the hoop!So now my fabric is already adhered to my shirt or other item and I have NO puckering what so ever!I highly recommend that you all get one of these ASAP!

Candy Applique Design

This design was one I did with a friend who has the same software I do.She is wanting to learn how to digitize and take advantage of her software so she came over one day and brought her laptop and we played!I chose this one because it is fairly simple to do because there is only one color and no overlaps.She caught on very fast.I think she is playing around with some things.I am not sure if she will start a site or anything but she does want to learn!

Caterpillar Applique Design

This is one of my favorites!I had a request for a caterpillar and directed that person to Applique Cafe because Rosemary has a SUPER cut caterpillar too.I came across this one shortly after that and decided to do it.I was pleased with the turn out.I also LOVE all Fabric Finders fabric and I got to use 5 different ones on this one design!There are severl steps on this one but they are all simple!

This one was a suggestion and one of my best ones yet I might add.I have TONS of customers from Alabama so this one has been a hit so far!It is different that a lot of Alabama things I have seen!GREAT for any Alabama fan!My mother even wants this one on a shirt!

I have had tons of request for purses and I thought this one was different.I also added the hearts in the fill stitch and I thought that gave it something extra!This one would be great to add a name too!

This is one I had done a while back and sold on Etsy and had people ask me to list it on the site so I did.I also add the heel without the cherry to this one!So it is like two designs for the price of one!

Ring Applique Design

This one is actually one of my husband suggestions!Of course I had to do it since he drew out how it should look and everything!He has been so supportive of me and designing!A few days after I did this one my diamond fell out of my engagement ring!I crawled around my house for an hour!Finally found it though!One of my prongs was broken!I wear it all the time and am constantly bumping it.I am not sure why the prong was completely gone!I am just glad I was at home AND found it!!!

Yesterday afternoon I spent the afternoon testing new designs Rachel from Emboidery Boutique will be listing very soon.And here they are!She has a cowgirl/cowboy theme going as well as few others.These will all be available on Rachel's site www.embroidery-boutique.com very soon!So here they are!

These are all super cute!I used alL Fabric Finders fabrics on these so these should be fairly simple fabrics to find!You can check the Fabric Finders web site for a store close to you.Some places sell it online too.I get most of mine from Heirlooms Forever in Tupelo.However I found another shop called Calico Rose in Florence, Alabama that has almost all the prints they make.And if they don't they can probably get it since FF is in Florence!It is a 90 mile trip for me but was well worth it!I still LOVE Heirlooms though and ALL the ladies there are great.So if you live near Tupelo Heirlooms Forever is the place and if you live near Florence Calico Rose is your place for Fabric Finders!Oh and when I was in Calico Rose the neatest thing happened!I was "recognized"!Not me but the shirt Corbin was wearing!The girl working there said "I know who you are you're Applique Momma"!It was actually kind of faltering!HA!I am going to try to do better on my postings too!Hopefully I can fit in two a week!

It seems like its been forever since I have had a post!It is hard trying to keep up a web site, post to the Monogram Momma fan page on Facebook, digitize new designs, test new designs, customer orders, a few samples here and there for Embroidery Boutique,etc....However I am not complaining and would NOT have it any other way!I have listed 10 designs on Applique Momma since my last post!I have been getting great suggestions for designs!I am still having a harder time coming up with things for the girls!I don't know if it is because I have two boys or if it is because there is just more things for boys!I have had several emails about my new machine.Yes I am LOVING it!It makes things munch easier!Oh and I am currently having a 30% off sale on Appliqué Momma that will end tonight.My next sale will be a 50% off sale when I reach 1,000 fans on my Monogram Momma fan page on Facebook so be sure to suggest it to ALL your appliqué friends so we can have another sale!!!

Birdie Applique Design

I hot this cute flower print from an Etsy shop.I can't remember the name of it but can look and see if anyone wants to know.I got it in several colors.I like it because it is just different shades of one color.

Butterfly Applique Design

I love this one!It is a bit busy with the fabric but most butterflies are(real ones)!Both of these prints are Janean Morrison prints.I LOVE ALL of her fabrics!I ordered these from an Etsy shop too.I haven't been able to find her fabric at my local shop.They may have had some but I haven't seen it.

Cell Phone Applique Design

I have had several request for a phone design.This is what I came up with and think it is rather cute.I took suggestions on Facebook about putting something on the screen or NOT.NOT seemed liked the suggestion I got most so I left it blank.You can put a name or initials or whatever you like in it now.One suggestion was call grand-maw or calling grand-maw.That would be cute too!

Cotton Candy Applique

I really like this one!YUMMY!I was actually working on this when I got a suggestion for it so that worked out perfect!I usually think of minky as a cold weather fabric but nothing else suited this like the minky did!And on an applique I think it is fine for summer!I also usually have to put solvy on top of my minky but I made this one more dense and put a few extra under sewing stitches on it thinking alot of people would use the minky.I think it stitched out great without it and I did't have anything poking up through the stitches.

Dolphin Applique Design

My little one has been racking up on shirts!I have been doing all my boys samples on shirts for him!I have also figured out how to put them on colored shirts and edit to have a white background so all of them no longer have to be white!I actually did this one on one of the lime garanimals tees!I love turquoise on the lime!This one makes me think of my oldest Dalton.When he was in preschool one of the girls called him dolphin instead of Dalton.Too funny!I may have to remind them of that!Since they are almost NINE now!They sure do grow up FAST!

Fish Applique Design

I like this little fish.I know there are lots of fish out there but there are soooo many ways you can do a fish!I may even do another one or a few more!I love gingham in case no one has noticed!It just seems so timeless and classic!Most of the specialty fabric shops carries Fabric Finders ginghams in EVERY color under the rainbow!I get most of mine from Heirlooms Forever in Tupelo.

Gator Gator Applique Design

I love all my designs because they are mine BUT I think this is my favorite one!I have had request for one but there are also tons of these out there!However I came across this and loved it and I think it is different from all the ones I have seen!I also think it would be cute with pink where the blue is to make it super girlie!Corbin named this one.I also did this one a shirt for him and when he saw it he got so excited and said "ooh gator gator!"It was so cute and I new that had to be the name!My husband even said I like that one!He usually just looks and nods so I feel like I have done something when he responds with words LOL!

FOUR new designs listed!!

I just listed my FOUR new designs on Applique Momma!I am still really enjoying the designing aspect!My sales seem to be steady.Not going up and not going down.I would really like for them to increase but I will take what I can get!
I had a few emails after my last post about the heat n bond lite.I accidentally deleted one email that specifically asked about the fabric not wrinkling.I am sorry and hope I can answer your question here.I use medium weight cutaway.I turn my shirt inside out and place the Sulky medium weight cutaway on the back of the shirt with my Sulky KK2000.I then turn it back right side out.Then I fold the shirt in half length wise and crease with the iron to get my center point and this also gives me a good line to position the hoop.I always measure from center to the outer edge of the shirt to make sure my line is in the center.I then hoop.I prepare my fabric with the heat n bond lite, spray with the KK2000 and give a good press with my hands and rub outward in all directions.I then finish the applique.After finishing the applique I iron over it(I place a piece of thin fabric over the applique) to adhere the heat n bond lite and fabric to the shirt.This process has cut down on the "wrinkling" of the fabric that I get so many question about.I do occasionally get wrinkling but with the swipe of an iron it is gone.Another thing that helps if you know you want to dry your item is to pre-wash so that any shrinking is already done.I do recommend that applique items be hung to dry.That way there is no shrinking and as most of you know everything looks better if it isn't dried!I also use Woolite or Tide total care on all of our clothes.They just seem to stay brighter with either of the two.

I have been asking for design suggestion and have gotten several great ones!Alot of them are things that are already out there so I have to find art that is DIFFERENT from what is already out there!I am trying to do all the request but I am trying to do the ones I have the most of first.I had tons of request for bathing suits and flip flops!The bathing suits weren't that challenging since there are not that many of those out there.However the flip flops where since Embroidery Boutique and Applique Cafe both have really cute ones already!I had bought some art a while back that I forgot about that had the flip flops I did in it!I think they are different enough?

I got this great polks dot fabric at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts.

I am pretty sure it is a JoAnn exclusive since that is what is on the side of the fabric.I think it is too cute!

Bikini Applique Design

This fabric is one of the Fabric Finders Tri-Checks.I LOVE ALL fabric finders fabric.It feels really nice and works great on appliques!I added a few bows to make the bikini cutter.I just make a bow and attach it with one of the tiny safety pins.Bows add to any design!

Swimming Trunks Applique Design

I used another tri-check fabric finders print on this design.On this one I did not put fabric in the two holes but instead I cut the hole out completely even the shirt and stabilizer.Then I put a piece of medium weight cut away behind the hole and then did the satin stitch and after it is finished I ran a piece of ribbon through the holes and tied a bow!I did this one one with out art or drawing!I just played around with lines until I got what I was envisioning!I was looking at a pair of one of the boys ChezAmi swim shorts too!

And here are my flip flops!I think they are different enough but still very cute!These as well as all of these designs would be great for beach towels!Turn a regular towel into a custom beach towel by adding an applique and name!Beach towels make GREAT graduation gifts too.I have several customers who give monogrammed beach towels every year.I have been doing them for a very special woman, friend, and teacher for many years now.She always gets for all the seniors in her church as well as any others she knows graduating and beach towels are a rater inexpensive but great gift!

I listed five more designs last night!I am having WAY too much fun with this!I LOVE gingham as you may have noticed in my samples!It seems timeless and classic.And when you use several ginghams on one design it gives customers lots of options for matching.I buy all my ginghams at Heirlooms Forever in Tuplelo, MS.If you live around Tupelo you should really check them out!My last two machines also came from there.They carry Brother, Viking/Huskvarna, Bernina, and maybe another one?The have embroidery machines, sewing machines, and sergers.They also have quilting things but I know nothing about those!Yes all that on top of great high quality fabric!If you are not in the area most of the nicer ginghams and tri-checks are made by Fabric Finders.You can go to the their site and search for a local dealer near you!I also buy some of my fabrics such as Michael Miller, Amy Butler, Janine Morrison, and Riley Blake(just to name a few)on Etsy.I have had several questions about fabric and how I make my stuff lay so flat.I hope that helps with the fabric!

I make my things lay flat by using HEAT N BOND lite.I can not work with out it or my Sulky KK 2000 sticky spray.You can get the Heat N Bond lite almost anywhere;craft stores, fabric stores, Wal Mart, etc...Make sure you get Heat N Bond LITE!Regular heat n bond is NOT for sewing!I get my Sulky KK 2000 at JoAnn Fabric and Crafts and I try to wait until they have it half off and then I stock up!Sign up for their emails and you will know when all the sales are as well as get coupons almost every email!I use to use 505 spray as my sticky spray.It is a good spray but I do prefer the KK 2000.The KK 2000 seems to have a better texture and leaves less of a residue.Also how flat your fabric lays has a great deal to do with STABALIZER!I use medium weight cutaway most of the time.I also use two layers of heavy weight tear away from time to time.I finish off the back of my shirts with florianna dream weave(I order it from Ken's Sewing center) or Sulky's cover a stitch.Lately I have been using more of the cover a stitch because it has been staying on better through the washings.I like to use different products on our things to test them.I had done my son several shirts a while back and I used both products and the cover a stitch has not started to peel yet but the florianna dream weave is trying to roll up.I may get flooded with emails of arguments on this one.I am just saying in my personal experience this is what is working for ME!I hope this info helps some of you as well as answer many of the emails I have gotten over the past few days.

I have been busy, busy, busy!I use to try to take pictures of every single thing but lately it seems to walk out the door before I can even think about taking a picture!I did a few more garanimals outfits this morning!I still LOVE this idea and there are so many different things you can do with them.I was at Wal Mart the other day and they have started putting out a few new plaid shorts and well.....I HAD to get some!The orange fabric on the ATV design is actually from a pair.I also re-listed a few designs on Etsy.These where designs I had done before and they didn't sell as well as I would have liked but apparently some did because I got several Etsy conversations asking about them so I resisted them!The deep is one of my favorites.I have di=one it camo as well as the browns for those die hard hunters/hunters son's.

I was so proud of my site and the way it turned out!I added all my designs and it looked great!HOWEVER I got a little frustrated waiting on the instant download people sooooo I tried to install it myself and well.... I DELETED my whole database!So PappaShop spent a whole day restoring it!I have purchased more instant download software from a company with GREAT customer service and they are installing it this weekend!I am getting excited!I hope I do well!Things on Etsy have picked up for sure so hopefully my business will continue to grow!Oh and I did do a few new designs.The backhoe and the baby carriage are new.

I have been super BUSY since my last post!Learning the new machine has been fun and fairly simple!The layout is almost identical to my Brother 2500d so that made it simple!The most I have done so far on it in a day is 10 shirts and 2 samples.I could have easily done more!I have been working on a new web site also!I hope it will be up and running soon!When it is running I will be offering instant download.I am not sure how long it will take to figure it all out!I am still using my sew what pro for all converting too!I would highly recommend it if you do not have any software.I also added three new appliqué designs to my etsy shop since the last post.One is a lemonade stand, a simple jeep, and an ATV.I try to keep them as simple as possible howevr that depends on the art.

new machine and a new design

Well I got my new machine Tuesday afternoon!!!I woke up Wednesday morning and went right to work.I think I ended up doing ten shirts yesterday.I usually can get in six and that is pushing it!I think eventually I can do even more than ten but right now I am learning the machine!It is definitely different but I am loving it!

I have had several request for a golf cart design but could NOT find any art like what had been explained to me so I just drew one and scanned it in!I have done this with several other designs that I have done for myself and I think it may be easier that way?However I did throw away several pieces of paper!I still have several designs that I have not gotten to sample yet.It is hard to digitize, sample, and keep up with the applique orders!I went ahead and did this one because I had gotten so may request for it!I love hearing all the input on what people want!That really helps!Keep the ideas coming!

Here is my newest design!I love these shirts from Monag with the red trim.They have several different trim colors available I believe.

I have had several request for a golf cart with golf clubs in the back.Apparently there are several golf carts out there but none of them have the clubs in the back.I hope you all like it!

I was busy this weekend working on baby shower gifts and Birthday gifts!I did lots of gowns for my friend.As I was doing those I was thinking....HUM.....this would be sooo much easier if I had a big machine and did NOT have to sit here and hold this out of the way!So last night I ran the idea across my WONDERFUL hubby again and he agreed on me getting me a new machine!So I started calling around and pricing witch is not easy because most Brother dealers are very hesitant to give prices over the phone!I found one one at a great price at HEIRLOOM'S FOREVER in Tupelo and will be picking it up sometime Wednesday!Is is not the newest one but is a PR 620.I have no idea what the difference is on it and the newer one and I am not even going to ask!This one belonged to the owner and has a very low stitch count and has been used very little.I am excited and nervous VERY NERVOUS all at the same time!It will be a new venture and I am sure I will have to get used to it!

Ok I am now the PROUD new owner of Sew What Pro!I had never had the need for it since my software lets me do all the merging, resizing, etc.But my fancy EXPENSIVE software will NOT let some programs use my .pes format and I can convert another format from my software to .pes and wala it works for everybody!$65.00 WELL SPENT!So my issues are fixed!Hopefully my frustration is over!I know there will be something else but for now things are looking up!

Here is a cute bib I did using Applique Cafe's raggy heart.It is so cute and I LOVED this idea!I had a customer call me and say she was expecting and she wanted a bib that said something like lovin my bumzi(this is what the baby will eventually call her mother).I loved it and thought it was soooo creative!

I did this outfit yesterday for a customer who has a little boy turning ONE!It is very cute!The design is adorable and can be found at Nobbie Neez Kids.However I will warn you that it takes almost an hour to stitch out and also calls for 30 thread changes!BUT it is CUTE!

And here is my NEW font!I named it Anna Kate simply because my niece just had a birthday and I had been meaning to do her a shirt and hadn't!I thought this was the perfect opportunity!The font comes in several sizes as well as upper and lower case letters and numbers.This font also has the zig zag stitching as requested by many.I prefer the zig zag fonts and especially when doing a whole name!I am going to be working on the ravie font in two more sizes next in the lower case letters.I have had a few request for a big font so I am going to do one size to entirely fill the 5x7 hoop and one to fill the 6x11 hoop.It will be great for things like towel wraps, laundry bags, pillow cases, etc.!I also have several designs to sample if I can find the time!

I posted my new prissy pig in my last post and mentioned she was created because I couldn't find what I thought the customer was looking for.So here is the pig shirt!I did it just like my sample as she requested and then sent it on to the UK!

Here is ANOTHER plaid outfit!These shorts are from Kohl's.The biggest size they had was a 4t at the Kohl's I was at so I want get as many appliques out of that pair.

New train design.... I know there are lots of trains out there but my little one LOVES trains so I had to do one!I love these colors too!

Here is a car I did.It is rather simple and doesn't take long to sew.I have had this Michael Miller sprockets fabric for a while now and have been waiting for just the right thing to use it on!

I wasn't going to do any more designs until I finished the font I am working on BUT I HAVE to take a break from it.It is so time consuming!And I get tired because it is basically the same thing over and over!I figured out that I can convert my formats in batches so that helps a ton!Only if I could resize in batches.....

The spring orders still seam to be steady!I had an order for a ladybug shirt for a little girl who was going to have a ladybug birthday party.However a few days later the mother emailed me back and asked if I had a girlie pig?The little girl had changed her mind and wanted a pig party.I searched all my favorite and the most popular sites and I did find a few pigs but nothing very girlie.Of course I could have changed the fabric on some of them and made them look more girlish but not girlie.I had gotten some art a while back that I thought had a few pigs in it and well it did!This adorable pig with a skirt and a crown was in it.And since I can digitize and have been doing it a little more lately I decided to do the cute pig and then Prissy Pig was born!I emailed the lady pictures of all the pigs I had found as well as the picture of the one I had designed and sampled and she loved mine!I was so glad she picked mine and someone besides me loved it!She also said she had some pink gingham pants with a ruffle that would match perfect and wanted the one on the shirt JUST like my sample!She also said she had ordered pig ribbon and gingham ribbon for a matching hair bow!Hopefully she will send me a picture of the whole outfit so I can share it.It sounds too cute!

I did another owl outfit the other day!I love these and this fabric is one of my favorites!I had posted another outfit like this on here and on my Facebook page and I got several orders for outfits exactly like it!I did do the owl on this shirt a little different and probably will change the others up a bit too.I like for everything to be special and try not to do everything the same.However when I post pictures I usually get messages saying the customer wants something JUST like a certain item only with their childs name or initial.

I know I have raved over the garanimals plaid shorts over and over!We where out shopping the other day and Kohl's also has some plaid shorts in the jumping bean brand so of course I couldn't resist!I purcased several pair their and then went on to Target and they too had plaid shorts!So WELL I got some there too!Targets are a little more detailed and were also a little more but VERY cute!I already made a shirt for one of the ones I got at Kohl's and hope to get to some of the others soon!I also listed another design on Etsy this morninghttp://www.etsy.com/shop/mmembroiderydesigns.This one is a frog.And once again I had already digitized it but had not sampled it to make sure it sewed out right and I made a few adjustments and listed it!I have sold quit a few of that ravie zig zag font and have had about a dozen emails from people wanting more fonts in the zig zag stitch.Fonts are alot more time consuming than designs since you have 26!The font I am working on (I THINK)will be offered in capital and lower case as well as numbers in several sizes like maybe 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch, and 5 inch with possibly a six?This will take a while thoough!But it seems fonts are what people want from me so that may be my focus for now.Not sure!

I am thinking spring is bringing on the babies!I have had several request for baby sets lately.I think these make great shower gifts!I also did one more applique shirt to match the garanimals shorts.This time it is the lime green and black shorts.I actually have to take back a previous statement!I said I had gotten my little one a pair of the garanimals shorts in every color but I did NOT!I didn't get a pair like this because I wasn't crazy about the colors.However after doing this shirt I will be picking up a pair on my next trip to Wal Mart!

We had a beutiful day here Sunday with 64 being our high!Unfortunately it ended with rain and our highs for the week are only in the 40's.I am so ready for the warm weather!I am ready for spring clothes too.I am not busy but every time I just about get it all done I get more orders.It is a lot less stressful this way!I did learn at Christmas when you get a certain amount of items you HAVE to start saying NO!Right now it is perfect and I am enjoying it!Hope you all are too!

The weather is much better here in Mississippi!We have been rain and snow free for several days now.The sun seems brighter than ever and my oldest has been so excited to be able to go outside and play.The pretty weather also puts me in the mood to get to working on things for spring!I did three shirts this morning before 9:00!The kids slept late and that means I can get some work done (uninterrupted).It is so nice when I can start and finish something without stopping a single time!It has been down hill since then though.I wanted to fit in a few more shirts today BUT my house is looking pretty neglected soooo I guess cleaning is the agenda for the remainder of the day!

He may have to have one like this for summer.

Applique Initial

This is the cherri font that I turned into an applique.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I like to get the garanimals plaid shorts from Wal Mart in my sons size and I also buy a pair in the biggest size(5T) to have fabric for a matching shirt.I haven't gotten to Corbin's yet but I do have a few customers who liked the idea and they are having me make the shirts for them.Here are the red shorts with a matching initial shirt.I got a pair of these shorts for Corbin in EVERY color that I have seen!They actually have two different styles in them:one is the plain straight short with regular pockets and the other style has pockets on each leg on the sides.I know I am going to do an initial and a name on a few of Corbin's shirts but I also think I want to do a few with designs using the matching fabric.One pair of 5T shorts will do quite a few shirts just in case you are wondering.I would say at least 4-6 shirts depending on what design you use.More pictures of the finished outfits coming soon(I hope).

Things seem to be moving at a steady pace!I have things to do but I am not overwhelmed with orders.It has been flowing great!I am ready for spring myself and ready to make my little one some things!If things stay at this pace I will be sneaking a few outfits for him in soon!I actually did a shirt for myself the other day!I had ordered this long sleeve brown shirt from Monag a while back and hadn't gotten around to putting anything on it.Applique Cafe listed a few new designs the other day with a new cross being one of them and I loved it!It was like I had been saving that shirt just for that!I am still doing several of the ruffle pants with matching tops for spring.I personally love these!I have had several baby gifts over the past few weeks also.It seems lots of babies are being born.I also have done a few more of the name shirts which remain my favorite thing for now!I

I actually did these burp cloths for a customer a few weeks back and for some reason I had stuck them in one of my bins that I rave about and forgot about them!She messaged me last night asking where they ready and it donned on me what I had done!DUH!

I did these shirts for a friend for birthday presents yesterday.She started out ordering one and when I sent her a picture of it she ordered another one for another party!People seem to be getting more and more of the spring fever.I don't think I ever remember people ordering spring stuff as early as they have this year!Its good for me though!I am sure there will still be a rush at Easter for things though!I have also made a few dresses lately.One is an A-line dress that I made for a fellow monogrammer so it is not monogrammed(she was going to do that).I also made a round neck dress.It was not my favorite thing to sew!The pattern instructions had the yolk going on upside down!I got sooooo confused and frustrated!I finally figured it out and it did turn out rather cute!No monogram on it either because we thought the pattern was too busy.Back to the applique name shirts:I think they are my new favorite thing!I have also done several bibs lately and am starting to get quite a few orders for the ruffle pants with matching tops.

I love these bibs.I have placed an order for some more of these and in several colors as well as white.I am excited about getting them!

This is the Ravie font that I turned into applique.I am sure you can find it already in applique form on one of the many sites that sells fonts.

I also used my larger hoop on this one because the name was longer and the shirt was a bigger size.

I just used the standard 5x7 hoop on this one.

And once again my pictures are NOT in the order I wanted them because for some reason I was unable to move them!This has been happening a lot lately?

I have been wanting to make a few outfits for my little one!I actually bought fabric just for him some stuff in the fall but never had time.Now all his winter things are getting to small or to stained to wear in public and when I went to get him a few new things I couldn't find anything I liked so I decided I would go ahead and make him a few things to get us through until spring!When I was looking for him some clothes in stores I ran across some really cute clothes for spring!The ones that I just fell in love with where the Zuccini brand.I found them an Ginger's in Corinth if you live in the area.They where cute applique shirts with matching shorts.I know I could make them and may do a few outfits similar to them!Here are the outfits I made for him.I am not real crazy about the train pants(they kind of look like pjs)but he LOVES trains is this is the only fabric I found with trains!

This outfit was intended to be worn to a western themed birthday party that we did not get to go too!I love it anyway though!I used the badge applique design from http://appliquecafe.com/for the shirt and this cute cowboy print fabric came from JoAnn Fabric and Crafts.

This one may be my favorite out of the four!I love this fabric that I ordered a while back from an Etsy shop.I have started ordering a good bit of my fabric from Etsy shops!There are lots of great shops with nice fabric priced very well!For the shirt I used the pirate hat from http://embroidery-boutique.com/ I think I also want to do it on a summer shirt!

I have had several emails asking about the cubicles that I posted.I got those from Target and they may also be sold in other stores that carry closet-maid.The baskets that go inside also come in many colors.The cubicles are also available in about 4 or 5 finishes I believe.Measurements are 36”h x 36”w x 11 3/5” d, 43 lbs.The cubes measure approximately 11"w x 11"h.

My last post was on my peg boards.I had just started my project at that time.A few days after that post I decided I wasn't happy with the way things where turning out!I also got a message from Rosemary saying that June Taylor made a thread stand for the taller spools/cones of thread.I really like the idea of thread stands better than pegs so off to JoAnn I went!They happened to have their thread storage 40% off so I lucked out!I ended up with 5 of them which was all they had!They took up a little more room than my pegs since I had two spools of thread on each peg so I had to get another peg board.I put it on the other side of my window above my cubicles that I put my appliqué fabric in.I also got a few extra peg boards to go in a few closets including the closet where I keep my bigger pieces of fabric and ribbon and who knows what else.I hope to get it done soon and will post pictures asap!It may be a little while before I get to it!It seems spring fever has started up and I am getting busy again.I have also tested quite a few designs for Embroidery Boutique over the past few days!I am sure she will have them listed soon and I will post some pictures of the designs soon also!I have had a few emails with questions about the peg boards and what I used so I will do my best to explain what I used for each thing under the pictures!

I found my thread stands at Jo Ann fabric and crafts and I hung them one two 4 inch pegs.The stands with the taller pegs hold 33 spools and I have one with shorter pegs and it holds 60 spools.

I plan to hang my serger thread and regular sewing thread on the empty stand.I just havent gotten to that yet!

I have several of these baskets hung just too throw things in!I got them at WalMart and I hung them with some pegs that are slightly angled.I got those from WalMart in an assortment pack that had several kinds of pegs and a few small baskets.The little red baskets as well as the clear jar also came in this package.

My smaller embroidery machine and my serger are now both on the table in front of the peg boards.

I like the bigger machine on the desk because it is sturdier!

A little problem I have!I tend to throw my clipped threads in the floor even though I have a garbage can right there!

I hung my third peg board over my cubicles I mentioned in an earlier post.

I hung my hoops, stabilizers, scissors, and whatever else on this board!The small basket on the far left also came in the combo pack I found at WalMart.

I hung my hoops on a 6 inch double peg that also came in the combo pack.I hung the stabilizers on 6 inch single pegs that I found at Lowe's.They are also available in various lengths and are sold by the single piece.

I also hung my scissors on the 6 inch pegs.

I put more stabilizer and my sticky spray in these hanging baskets that I found at WalMart.They came in a package of three and are three different sizes.You can see the smallest one in one of the above pictures.All the supplies I got at WalMart where found in the hardware section.

For some reason I have gotten on an organizing/OCD spree.I have been cleaning out, throwing lots away, and just organizing EVERYTHING the past week!I want everything in its own place!I can't stand lots of clutter so every so often I go through a spell like this!My husband keeps complaining about ALL the garbage!Seriously over the past week I have thrown away about 30 garbage bags full of STUFF in addition to the regular household garbage!Nothing important just stuff!Old magazines, broken toys, toys with LOTS of tiny pieces, etc....... I will be so glad when the whole house is complete!I want everything so that I would be proud for anyone to open any door (cabinets and closets included) instead of be mortified!

I started my sewing room/sun porch/hubby's office(I have taken over) yesterday.I had someone recommend peg boards.I finally got me two of them at Lowe's the other day.They are very cheap!I think they where like $3.46 for one board!Then you do have to buy the pegs and whatever else you want to go on them but that stuff isn't much either.I started out not getting a lot soooo now I am not finished.However my mother is coming today and I am having her stop and pick up some more pegs so I can finish.I really didn't know how it would all work so I under bought.I love it though!I think it will help make my life in my sewing room more simple.I am always losing things and have never really had a great way of storing thread.Now I do!I do have a thread stand but the pegs are not tall enough for the thread I use and the thread constantly falls off!If any of you know of a stand with taller pegs please e-mail me!I use Isacord and poly x thread mostly and those spools just don't like those pegs!Here are a few pictures of my work in progress.I will post more pics of it all finished in the next few days!

I found this hall tree at a factory that was shut down.I hang all bags etc... on it.

The folding table doesn't seem to be stable enough for my bigger machine so I have taken over hubby's desk.

The top drawer is where the thread was and it was always getting tangled up and falling over!

I have who freind who is in labor today!I missed her shower that was before Christmas because I was too busy monogramming to go so this morning I did a few things for her!I love the gowns from Monag!They are so soft and super nice!The dress is a bargain I found at Wal Mart a few months ago!I love a good deal!I got the dress with bloomers for $3.00!!!!And I think I made it into something very cute(not that it wasn't already cute)!

Even though the gown and the dress were a good gift without adding to them I felt like I needed to get something to go with them that I didn't make.So I ran in a local children's clothing store and boy am I glad I did!For her I got a Kalencom quick change kit with wipe case. These are really neat!Its a trifold case that holds a few diapers and a wipe case and is also a changing pad!But my excitement comes from finding the portable potty!Yes I just expressed excitement from a portable potty or on the go potty!It it the neatest little potty that folds up flat that you can carry with you!It has bags you attach to it to catch the pee or poo!Why am I so excited?I have a two year old who is recently potty trained!And all you moms out there know what a challenge is possed when your on the go and you are no where close to any kind of restroom and you here momma I gotta peepeee!Well this is the answer!Also this is very compact and can be put in a bag so that when you are in a store you can put it on the regular toilet lid so they don't fall in or sit on the lid(yuck!!!).You can check these out at www.kalencom.com as well as their other neat products.I also got myself and my friend some stroller straps.These are just some simple straps that helps attach your diaper bag or purse to the stroller.Hope I don't sound too crazy today!

Yesterday was our third snow day!Needless to say I didn't get any work done!I took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for a fun day!We had been cooped up in the house for too long!Not my best idea since the little one is now running fever!I am sure he picked something up from one of those germie games!I also drug them in WalMart, Hancocks, and Hobby Lobby!I picked up a few new fabrics at Hobby lobby and Hanncocks.I love fabric!I really didn't need it but thought I had to have a few new things for Valentine and Easter appliques!At WalMart they have already started putting out there Garanimals summer clothes.I didn't look at the girls but I did pick up 4 pair of the shorts for my little one.We had these last year and I loved them!I buy a pair in his size then I buy a pair in the biggest size(5t)to have fabric to do a matching applique shirt.I did these last year for mine and for my nephew.

I LOVE these cubical shelves by closet maid!I got mine at Target but I believe most stores who sell close maid have them. They are rather compact and hold ALOT!I put this one at the end of the hall between my boys rooms and it fits perfect!I really was surprised at how much they held!The shelve is available in several colors and they have baskets in about every color under the rainbow!I like them so well I went back and got two more!One went in my sewing room(hubby's office that I took over) and the other is still in the box!In my sewing room I put my appliqué fabric in it!I had been struggling with a good way to organize my fabric and this was perfect!I was able to have a container for each color family which makes my life easier!Before I was spending way to much time DIGGING for fabric!

I also did a few cute boy shirts the other day.When I first started appliquéing it was kind of hard to find cute stuff for boys!Now it is rather easy and there are almost as many cute boy designs as there are girl designs!

I have been at it this morning!I have gotten all the decoration stripped from the den trees!Yes I am just now taking down my trees!!!I just haven't wanted to take them down!I got some new things for them this year(last year now) and they were just so pretty!It kind of saddened me to take them down but it will be December again before we know it!My husband even said the tree was prettier than ever this year and that is just not like him!I used a lot of picks(which I love) and I expected him to have something sarcastic to say about the "things" sticking out of the tree but he didn't!

Long time no post!!!!I have been soooo busy!I joined the Face Book craze a while back and totally got sucked in!I f any of you need any business just join Face Book and post a few pictures!That done it for me!I have never been so busy!I have slowed down a little now and have even considered not doing it for th public:(However I think I have changed my mind but I will NOT let myself get as swamped as I was at Christmas!I think a good thing to do would be not take anymore orders after you have a certain number and then when you get that done start taking again!I was still monogramming Christmas Eve!I said last year or year before last now that I would NEVER do that again but found myself doing it!I have started doing more clothes too.I love doing the straight pants for boys and ruffle pants for girls with a matching appliqué top!I am going to try and do better on blogging this year!So here are some things I have been working on since my last post in AUGUST!!!!I promise I am going to do better this year and if I start slacking please remind me to do better!One of my favorite things to do is look at other blogs to get ideas and ladies Rosemary Gulledge in my opinion has the best one!!!She even shares all her wonderful tips!Her and her husband are also digitizing now and have some CUTE stuff!Check out their designs at appliquecafe.com. Back to School

I have been really busy these past few weeks!School is starting here and the backpacks were flowing in!I did more backpacks and luch boxes this year than ever before(around 40 counting lunch boxes and backpacks)!I have done a few towels for kindergarten blankets also.The local schools prefer the children bring a towel instead of a blanket to use a naptime since a towels is about the size of their mats.You can make your childs towel so cute by adding a name or applique or whatever you would like.I have sold a few more designs but still not many!I am a little disapointed with this.I don't know if I do not have what people are wanting or maybe it is just because I haven't been found yet.I am going to continue to do new designs and see if it picks up and if nothing else I am saving myself money by making my own designs instead of buying them.

I also still have lots of items on hand like baby blankets, burp cloths, bibs, shirts(long and short sleeve), a few playtex straw cups, stainless steel straw cups and mugs, towels, and a few other things!If you need any gifts please contact me.

My oldest started 3rd grade this week!It has went well so far, however yesterday he said he did not want to go back!This bothers me because last year we had a lot of trouble with anxiety about school and thought he was over it but I am now not so sure!He also DID NOT want his name on his lunch box or backpack.I am hoping he will get over that and let me do it but at the time it did not bother me becuse I had already done so many!The little one is missing his bubba while he is at school!He goes to the back door and says Dalt about ten times a day and then he is so happy when Dalton gets in the car.I was worried that he would get back in cling to mom mode when school started back but so far he has not!Hope everyone is doing well with back to school.

I have Done 4 shirts for the same little girl in the past few days and might I say me and her grandmother have come up with some cute stuff.I love these shirts!

The LolliPop shirt with Sarah Catherine was also for the same little girl.That makes shirt number 4.

This quilt is something I did in the fall before I had a blog and I have never posted a picture of it.I did it for my sons Fall Festival for there silent auction that they have every year.I loved doing this.I let each child pick a sport and two of there favorite colors and I went from there!I did a square for each child and even one for the teacher.I guess I should also mention that I COULD NOT part with this thing. I loved it and spent a good bit of time on it.I made it and then turned around and bought it.Sure I could have made another one but it just wouldn't have been the same and I didn't really want to tackle that again for a while.I have seen some that are actual pictures of the children made into quilts but I wanted to do something different and this way I can say I did everything but make the fabric!LOL!

Wow it has been three weeks since I posted!I had been putting almost every single thing I did on here.I have been to busy lately with monogramming and life in general to take pics of all the stuff.It has been going out the door as soon as I get it done and I haven't even bothered to take pictures.Lately I have just been glad to get it finished and delivered.Maybe it will get better.I have taken pictures of a few things in the past few days.I only took these because they are new things I have not done or just really cute and I wanted a picture.

Here is towel I did.The girl wanted to know if I could monogram it in zebra (lol!don't think there is zebra thread)but, I told her I could do an applique using zebra fabric and it turned out so cute!The girl loved it too.I have also bought some bright colored towels to applique summer designs on for my boys to use as beach towels, if I ever get a chance to do them.

Water Bottles!I love these and they are so cute with the appliqued letter in them.I have had these for a while and they have just started selling really well.I guess since summer time is here now it has made people want water bottles.I still have several of these on hand if anyone is interested.They make great gifts!

Target Find!We found these coolers at Taget for $2.50.They had pink, purple, green, and blue.They are a nice size and look so cute monogrammed.I am kicking myself for not picking up more than the two (I got for my boys)but, proud of myself too for restraining from buying anything else to have "on hand".I already have too much stuff "on hand" that I need to get rid of before I buy anything else!If you like them you can get them at Target and bring it to me and I can fix you up.

A girl ordered this onesie/bib set to give as a gift and I thought it turned out soooo cute!Man I love what I do.It is almost like playing instead of working!

Speaking of items "on hand" I do have several of these little fitted tees in various colors.I love this little applique lollipop.I was so glad when I got the order for it because I had not sewn it yet.I have many applique designs that I can put on these shirts.

Koozies!I love these collapsible koozies.I have them for water bottles as well as cans.They come in many colors.I have zebra prints in various colors, polka dots in various colors, and plain in various colors that a ribbon bow can be added to.I also ordered a few colors that are suitable for boys since I have two boys myself.If you are interested in these you may contact me for color options.I also think CeeCee's in town is going to order some next week if you would like to buy one there, they should have them around the end of the week.

Here are few things I have been working on lately.I am still pretty busy which is a good thing.I have gotten a little behind lately because my little one has been sick and we also celebrated my oldest ones 8th birthday the past week.We are also trying to get a few things fixed around the house just little stuff but it takes up a good bit of time preparing for everything.To those of you who are waiting on things I plan to be completely through with all the orders I currently have by Wednesday of the coming week and hopefully before then.Thanks for your patience.

I made the shirt and tutu fir my niece's birthday.I had been seeing these tutus on several other sites and wanted to try one and it was fairly easy to make and it turned out soooooooo cute!A friend of mine got these two items for her nieces birthday.These straw cups are continuing to be a popular item as well as the applique shirts.The shirts with the applique numbers are such a great idea for birthdays and they can continue to wear them for a while.Woohoo I finally got a picture of a water bottle.These bottles are supper nice and have a nifty little hook thing on the top of them that makes them easy to carry with only one finger or you can hook them onto whatever you would like.I have several orders for these including one with a 1 letter applique and will be posting a picture of it soon.These bottles would make great gifts for almost any age!

GO STEALTH!These moms have been a blessing to me!Almost all of them I believe ordered a shirt with their child's number on it and there team name wrote through it.On this one they wanted the last name wrote through it instead of the team name.I like this because the team name may change from year to year and the last name will not.When the kids get the age of these boys they also try to keep the same number from year to year so the last name through it is efficient!

I have also done this design on several shirt for the baseball moms.Several them had it put on a fitted shirt, however if you would like it on an adult fitted t I would prefer you supply so we know the size will be right.Fitted shirts are hard to buy for another woman.I would be glad to supply a regular tee for these.If you have any questions or request please feel free to contact me.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been pretty busy lately and still have several orders that I am working on.I have done about 20 applique shirts for some baseball moms that have their child's number appliqued and their team name or a last name wrote through it.These all turned out really cute and the moms loved them.I also did a few for the little brothers and sisters and they were extremely cute as well! I also did one with peace love baseball appliqued and will post a picture of it later.

I did several items for the Easter Bunny but not a whole lot.I did a few cups, a few shirts, and a few mouse pads and I believe that was all for Easter!

I also had a few orders for baby shower gifts.One order was for 3 ladies who were going in together and buying a gift.They gave me their price and I decided what all I could do for that amount and might I add this girl got a great gift!All the stuff turned out so cute.The other shower gift I had a girl bring me a blanket and I appliqued the Babbie's initials on it centered at the bottom thinking it would be really cute laid on the end of a bed.Don't forget about the new water bottles I have.I will be posting pictures of those soon and they make really nice gifts.If anyone is thinking about teacher appreciation or end of the year gifts for teachers these would be great.I also have a few of the mugs as well.I currently have many items on hand that can be done very quick if anyone needs any gifts.I have straw cups, night lights, water bottles, mugs, several t-shirts in various sizes and colors, onesies and pants for baby appliqued outfits, plenty of ribbon for key chains, checkbook covers, baby blankets, and I am sure a few more things I just can't think of it all right now so please keep me in mind for all your gifting needs.I REALLY NEED TO LIQUIDATE MY INVENTORY!

Diaper Bag

I love, love this diaper bag.It turned out so, so cute.I also used something new on the inside of it to make it stand up better and it by far worked better than anything I have ever used.I have one problem with making these diaper bags:they take me to long!I don't know how to speed the process up.Due to this I may have to raise my price.I am going to leave it the same for now, but if I can't speed the process up any the price will be increasing and I am so sorry to have to do this and maybe I can figure something out so that I don't have to.

Here are a few of the things I did yesterday.Most of it is things I have done and posted before.I don't think I have ever posted the hair bows.I have done those in the past I just had not had any request for them lately.They are so cute and in the past I have done two of each in case they wanted one for each side but if they only put one in then there is no need for two.The boy outfit is done in different colors this time and I also ave a few more colors for these as well as girl colors.The necklaces are also becoming rather popular and I would even like one for myself if I ever get a chance.

Boy Shirts

I haven't had many orders for boy shirts so I was excited to get a few.I thought they turned out cut and I want to do some for my little one if I ever get a chance!I did another straw cup and I am now sold out of these.I should have some more in early next week.I also have water bottles like the travel mugs coming next week also.I hope to get some of these done up for market too.The checkbook cover and key chains are still going strong!I still have several of the travel mugs on hand also.I have been blessed with many orders lately and hope to try the flea market in May with another fellow monogrammer.Thanks sooooooo much to all my customers!

Making Progress

Today has been a pretty progresive day.I finished the 37 keychains Betty @ CeeCee's ordered.I did not take a picture of them since they mostly look like the ones I have already done and posted pictures of.They must be selling well because she has ordered several times(I'm glad).I also finished up some stuff for Between Friends @ Hickory Flat, also did not take pics cause it is the same stuff.I did a few more straw cups today.I love these.I think this lady is giving them as Easter gifts and they would be great to go in baskets if anyone is looking for Easter happies.This is the first necklace I have done.My aunt saw one somewhere and wanted me to try it.I thought is turned out well.The shirt was another Etsy sell (yeah me).It tured out so cute.I also did another applique name shirt.I have not done many for the boys but I am starting to get a few orders for them.The koozie is something I did a while back but I thought I would post a picture of it since summer time will be here before we know it.I still have quite a bit more to do so more post and pictures will be coming soon.

weekend work

I have done a few things this weekend.I did some more of the straw cups, I don't have any more red left.All other colors are still available, but limited.I also did another travel mug, I still have plenty of these.The 2 shirt is for my nephew who's party is today.I also did the outfit for him using the garanimals stuff.It looks as good as Kelly's Kids to me and much cheaper!I have also done three more night lights.I only posed on because they were all camo.The last out fit was done from one of my new patterns and I have plenty of this fabric if you like it.

I finished these items up last night and delivered them this morning.Most of the stuff I have done before.The night light is a new item I have that I had mentioned in earlier post.Any of my fabric can be put in these.I do have a limited number of these though and when there gone I don't know if I will be able to get anymore and if I do the price may have to increase because I got a great deal on these.If you want one you may want to act fast because I have already sold 4 and they had not even seen them when they ordered.The straw cups cups are going fast too, but I can reorder them.As always keep me in mind for all your gifting needs.I always try to keep things on hand.The onesie was a first for me!I have done onesies before but never one I had to hoop 3 times!The bib is too cute!

Working Hard

I finished and delivered my wholesale order for Between Friends in Hickory Flat.If anyone lives in that area be sure to go by and check their things out.They are directly across from the new Merchants and Farmers Bank.These wholesale orders are a blessing.I have also sold wholesale on Etsy to a shop in Wisconsin(I'm going far!).I am pretty busy!I have got a lot of orders I am working on, not to mention I also need to make my nephew something for his birthday (party Sunday).I will be posting pics of everything just as soon as I can get it done.Whew!The checkbook cover and key chain set went to my first buyer on Etsy.

Baby blankets(I still have a few of these)are going over well.More team shirts(who doesn't need one of these)they are still going well.The grandma's hero t turned out so cute.The lady just said she wanted grandma's little hero on the shirt and one of the girls my aunt works with said something about putting a baby with a cape on there and I am glad she did because this is SUPER cute.Oh yeah I just got these straw cups in and have already sold a few so if you would like one you may want to act fast.I will be trying to keep a few of these on hand all of the time though.They come in red, green, purple, blue, and aqua and I currently have all colors.I also have found some really cute nightlights that I will be posting in the next few days(already sold a few of them).The nice weather must make people want to buy things(good for me).I have also picked up another shop to sell key chains and check book covers to(Between Friends Flowers and Gifts in Hickory Flat).Business is good as you can see, but when it rains it pours, I'll be busy for a while(I'm glad though)!

I did this stuff this morning.I love these onesies!I hope I get more orders for these because they are just sooo cute.The shirts I did for my sis-in-law for her bf's twins b-day.They are m2m the stripe garanimals carpi's from wm.I used fabric from a shirt of the same fabric like I did on the snail shirt from an older post.All cute stuff.I am still not finished for the day so hope to post more pics later.

Not busy, but steady.Today I did a t-shirt order that I have had for a while now,a luggage tag (I just got these today.I also have a larger size that would be great for a larger bag and a last name.),a sweat shirt my niece wanted, and a checkbook cover I sold on eBay!The paw print shirt is what my niece wanted(she also had me sew out the lions from lion king and Bambi on a piece of fabric)I had Tigers wrote in the paw originally, but she just wanted the paw print.The team shirts continue to be a favorite of mine since they are one of the few shirts I do that are great for adults as well as kids.I have had pretty good luck with them.I really like these luggage tags too.They will be great for an extra little a happy if anyone needs anything like that!

This is what I 've been working on today.I love making these pants!I didn't think I could do a hat, but I did and it wasn't to bad after all.I have also been working on a clipboard.I had seen some somewhere on the web and wanted to try it.They used clear clipboards and monogrammed a piece of fabric and some how adhered it to the clipboard so that the fabric and letter show through on the front.If anyone knows the technique used or has any tips please let me know.I will post pic later if it turns out o.k.

I didn't do much for Valentines Day.I did do these mugs for my sister-in-law. She gave them to her kids (yes, she has one BAMA BOY and one REBEL BOY!).Her son also gave his girlfriend one, but guess what: forgot to take a pic.I guess I was glad I didn't do much since both of my boys have had an awful stomach bug, which landed one of them in the hospital with an I.V. We just stayed one night and came home last night(still too long)Anyway we're getting better(I hope!)Betty at CeeCee's does have some more orders for me. I will get with here today and get them and try to play catch up as well as disinfect the whole house again!As always if you need anything just give me a buzz.

I finished up my wholesale order for CeeCee's today. I had 11 more key chains and 10 checkbook covers to do. I used some of my new ribbon the key chains. I also used some of my new peace sign fabric on the checkbook covers. Be sure and go by CeeCee's and pick one up.

Be sure to go by and check them out and she also just got in new shipment of yellow box flip flops for the spring and they are so cute (had to get a pair).

I also did this rebel shirt this morning.I love these team shirts. They can be done for any team or school. You can also applique the teams name like TIGERS or whatever you prefer.
